1. Product characteristics.
The paint is refined from epoxy resin and zinc powder, and mixed with curing agent in proportion to the two components. The paint is resistant to solvent corrosion, has excellent rustproof performance, cathodic protection, can penetrate into the weld gap, excellent water resistance and rustproof, stable weather resistance in the sun.
2. Usage instructions.
(1) Application.
The paint is suitable for shipbuilding, bridges, containers and other steel components and chemical equipment, etc.
(2) Construction requirements.
Suggested number of painting: airless spraying one, dry film 50-80μm, brushing or roller coating 2-3 coats.
Paint for the latter: epoxy cloud iron antirust paint, iron red epoxy antirust paint, epoxy zinc phosphate antirust paint, epoxy aluminum tripolyphosphate antirust paint, epoxy asphalt paint, chlorinated rubber antirust paint, acrylic polyurethane and other types of topcoats.
Surface treatment: Steel with oxidation: sandblasting to Sa2.5 level, surface roughness 30-75μm, or pickling to remove all oxidation and rust, and thorough neutralization, washing and passivation. Steel without oxidation: sandblasted to Sa2.5, or sanded to St3 by wind or electric elastic grinding wheel.
Steel coated with shop primer: secondary descaling of paint film damage, rust and white embroidery on zinc powder primer, removing white embroidery and sanding to St3.
Construction conditions: The temperature of the substrate must be at least 3℃ above the dew point temperature. When the outdoor construction temperature is lower than 0℃, the reaction of epoxy and curing agent will stop, so it is not suitable for construction. Relative humidity is not more than 85%.
3. Caution.
The drying and curing time of epoxy zinc rich paint will be shortened with the increase of temperature. The temperature is between 0-10℃, but the curing speed is very slow. Adequate ventilation is required during the drying and curing period of the epoxy zinc rich paint.
