High Chlorinated Polyethylene Iron Red Primer

1. Product characteristics.
The paint is composed of high chlorinated polyethylene resin, epoxy resin, plasticizer, iron oxide red pigment, auxiliaries, solvent, etc. It has excellent rust resistance; salt spray resistance; strong adhesion; low temperature construction; fast drying.
2. Usage instructions.
(1) Uses.
The paint is used for primer coating on the surface of various steel structures which are subject to chemical atmosphere, industrial atmosphere, acid, alkali and salt corrosion.
(2) Construction requirements.
Suggested number of coats: two coats, dry film 80-90μm.
The latter supporting paint: high chlorinated polyethylene intermediate paint, high chlorinated polyethylene top coat.
Surface treatment: For new steel structure surface of general anti-corrosion project or steel structure maintenance, manual rust removal or manual mechanical rust removal standard St2 or St3 grade can be used. For heavy anti-corrosion projects or new steel structure surface rust removal, it is best to use sandblasting or pickling rust removal, with sandblasting rust removal standard reaching Sa2.5 grade and pickling rust removal standard reaching Be grade. The roughness of the surface formed by sandblasting should be controlled at about 40 microns, and the surface of the substrate should be neutral after pickling and passivation, and the primer should be painted within 12 hours after rust removal to avoid secondary rusting.
Construction conditions: The temperature of the substrate shall be higher than the dew point temperature by more than 3℃. Relative humidity should be no more than 85%.
3. Caution.
Ventilation, fire prevention and other measures should be done during painting operation. Storage period is one year .
